We have stayed at Viejas numerous times as Platinum level players but this visit was by far the worst. Why? The dirty towels pile up, as do the trash cans, empty toiletries items. I complained to the housekeeping staff that it was a necessity to clean the room at least every other day. They don't lower the room rates for poorer service. This is very difficult since the line is busy and when we did get through and ordered it took 46 minutes for the towels and toiletries to arrive! Granted the next few days the service improved to a little under 15 minutes thereafter. You have to request items through the house keeping line. They don't provide you any fresh towels, toiletries, toilet paper, tissues, etc.(Since they clean the room every 3 days well things can get messy. (This isn't understandable because even though they claim it's because of the virus and they want to minimize contact It can be done with the proper training and attire. Limit on the amount of people who can enter the pool. Professional while taking temperatures and enforcing social distancing.įitness center closed (understandable to the virus but taking a notch of the ratings) The rooms are clean, spacious, and pleasant. I want to be fair and have written my review to reflect this. We understand that the virus has impacted many aspects however the virus is used as an excuse to curtail service. We stayed here for a few days and were disappointed at the level of service.
